You can identify the actual trigger mob, a wyvern sentinel, from the other sentinel by the NPC model. The trigger mob is an old world EQ Wyvern model.
On another note, there is a bug that currently links this named to the Hunter Achievement for The Overseer Reborn and The Overseer Reborn to the Hunter Achievement Captain of the Guard.

Most wyvern sentinels aren't the triggers, if you run around invis targeting #a_wyvern_sentinel with the hashtag will let you know if trigger is up.
